KUALA LUMPUR, June 30 -- The Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC) together with E&E Productivity Nexus (EEPN) are collaborating on an initiative to facilitate and expedite the recovery of electrical and electronic (E&E) companies, especially the small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
In a statement today, EEPN chairman Datuk Seri Wong Siew Hai said many E&E-based companies are having a hard time to sustain their businesses.
"Hence, we have laid out several plans to help E&E industry players in Malaysia,” he said, adding that the plan includes organising webinars, virtual advisory clinics, business coachings and promoting Malaysian E&E companies to the world.
The initiative kicked off with a series of business recovery webinars, namely “Rethink, Reinvent and Revitalise in the New Normal”, “Making the Climb towards Recovery” and “Growing Business Against the Tides of Disruption”, which saw a total of 1,129 participants.
EEPN is also collaborating with Digital Productivity Nexus to organise a webinar on digital transformation.
"This is to highlight that digital transformation is inevitable and can be a life-saver for all types of businesses.
"The year 2020 is proving to be a milestone year for many businesses. Many industry leaders are finding themselves in a transformational landscape, and are rolling out solutions that will not only help mitigate the impact from COVID-19 but also allow Malaysians to bounce back from the Movement Control Order (MCO) safely and responsibly," he noted.
